Deaf Men Tell No Tales!

This is from a few weeks ago (I think it was on the 25th of July) but it's still funny, and now I have picture to go along with it.

On the 25th (a tuesday) me, my parents, Benjamin, and Rebecca (mom's teacher friend) were going to an Astro's game, and we were a bit early (like three hours) so we went to the mall near the astrodome.

The mall sucked, so for a while we were just sitting there in the food court and a little black kid (about six) walked up to us and gave us the following pamplet:

If you can read it it says the kid is deaf and stuff like that, well my Dad got suckered in and gave him five bucks.

About ten minutes later this kid comes back and is buying a newspaper from a machine, his back is facing me and we're all looking at him, so on an impulse I yell "HEY!" The kid turned around, and about two seconds later ran off realizing that we had him figured out (like he was that convincing to begin with).

Moral of the story: If you're gonna fake like you're deaf, wear ear plugs.

Here's a little bonus, I made a message out of the deaf manual alphabet, see if you can figure it out (if you can't read the alphabet above, click here for a close-up):
