Will & Connor!

Me and my friend Will Boesl have made a web show, the first of which is in this post.

The show will consist of series, which contain five episodes each. Please visit us at our myspace.

Here is Will & Connor Series One: Episode One: "Chairing"

Sorry For The Wait!

I've been thinking about doing some things, and I've finally got of my lazy ass and I'm about set them in motion with this little site of mine. Hopefully I can get more coverage and hopefully I can maybe reach out to more people, but probably not, but anyways yah, sorry for the lack of posting, it will be made up soon enough.

Tips For Travel!

Here are a few tips if you decide on traveling any time soon:

  • If you get nervous during plane turbulence, don't, just think about how in a car there are smooth roads and bumpy roads and the same is true with flying. Of course if you get nervous in a car you can just stop and park, if you try to do that in a plane... it may result in a severe case of deadness.

  • DON'T use American Airlines.

  • Know that all cab drivers drive like they're in an action movie... or on speed (bud-dum-chik).

  • While looking at maps, asking for directions and taking pictures are all reasons for people to believe you're a tourist, nothing gives you away more than saying you're a tourist.

  • DON'T... EVER use American Airlines.

  • If you buy a shirt from the place you're visiting (i.e. New York City), don't get a shirt (or any other article of clothing) that just says the name of the city in obnoxious retarded bold lettering (i.e. NEW YORK CITY!). If you do, everyone will think you are a douche, even yourself.

  • If you take more than thirty (30) photos a day, you should get a cat scan.

Well that is all, and remember... DON'T EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER use American Airlines.

F!@# American Airlines!

We were supposed to get into Washington D.C. at about 9 P.M. last night.

But instead we got here at about 3:30 A.M. this morning.

And our bags are lost, so I guess I'm just wearing the same outfit for a week.

If any of you fly on American Airlines, make sure you have some type of leverage against the owner so you can actually get decent service without groveling.

Logorithmic!

I made a new logo for the site, and I'm thinking about designing things for the side bars and maybe even title posts.

Three Movies And A Baby!

Minus the baby part.

I've recently seen three movies... The Ex, Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End, and Pan's Labyrinth...

The Ex!:

Starring Zach Braff and Jason Bateman. If you love either "Scrubs" or "Arrested Development" you won't love this movie, but you will very strongly like it. One third silly slapstick humor, one third akward silence humor (as often seen on AD), and one third drama, while the movie isn't a laugh riot, it really doesn't dissapoint at all and leaves you feeling satisfied. It did seem like they cut out a lot of stuff though, maybe a special edition DVD... eh... hopefully:

Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End!:

Starring Johny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Legolas. While POTC3 is an improvement on number 2, it still is no where near as good as the original. While this has good action and several funny moments, it sort of contradicts itself by having those two things... The majority of the humor is only appealing to younger kids (even though there are some universally appealing funny moments) but the action is too graphic for that age group. Also, POTC3 feels very cluttered, as if they rushed the editing. Overall, it's worth a see:

Pan's Labyrinth!:

Starring... uh... some... Spanish people... once again I need to see all the good movies of a year before I start making my top lists, because this would have gone on my list for last year had I seen it. PL is a fairy tale, but a very disturbing one at that (not for little kids... I've heard reports of parents hearing it's a fairy tale and showing it to their kids... BIG MISTAKE). The only reason I would say not see this film is if you are put off at the least bit of fantasy. Now another thing that makes me mad, is that a few weeks ago when I was renting someone else... I noticed that the people at Hollywood Video have to tell people this movie is in Spanish and only has English subtitles, it also made me mad when two people put this one back for that reason. Their loss on this incredibly good film... man that pissed me off that those people did that, really shows how much our intelligence is falling if we're really too lazy to read subtitles... but anyways, Pan's Labyrinth is very very good:

Also, if anyone who reads this has an XBOX 360, pick up Viva Pinata, now... it's very very addicting.

Unfortunately Not Forever!

School is out for summer, and now I can get around to procrastinating on all those things I really need to do.

Also, as a side note, bullitens on MySpace are the most useless pieces of sh!t ever. Apparently they were made to tell your friends about things like "Hey guys, I'm bored, does anyone want to hang out?" or ask "Ya'll going to the party tomorrow?" but not to say things like "I'm cool" or "lolz coment my pciz plz". It makes me want to punch people in the face.

Revenge Of The Cube!

I got my Rubik's Revenge (4x4x4 Cube) and my Pocket Cube (2x2x2) today.

Pocket is pretty easy, taking me only about... thirty seconds maybe to solve, but Revenge is a dish best served cold... because it's extremely challenging.

I might make a video about them... soon, or maybe not, it just depends.

Oh, and POST SCRIPT, Whitney made this in response to my last post... CLICK.

Excelsior!

I want... no NEED a shirt that has Stan Lee's head on it, and the word "EXCELSIOR" written across the front in huge, arrogant and overbearing letters. A lot like the huge, arrogant and overbearing American flag in Spider-Man 3. Even though there isn't anything arrogant about America.

Color Me Blue!

Not because I'm sad, but because blue is the color of happiness on a mood ring... which means I'm happy...

MOOD RINGS CONTRADICT THEMSELVES...

Ahhem... anyways...

My two favorite shows (out of five that I consider "ON THE TOP") have gotten renewed for new seasons.

My second favorite show, LOST, which is rapping up its third season this wednesday, is being renewed for three more seasons. The producers have said that the end of the sixth season will be the end of the show (CLICK FOR SOURCE). This gives me a lot of relief knowing that the show will have a planned ending, and won't just dwindle on created limitless mysteries until the show is taken off... not explaining these mysteries... and leaving me... lost...

My favorite (favorite) show, Scrubs, is being renewed for one last season (all the cast and crew have said they just want one more to wrap everything up). Read about it here on Zach Braff's myspace (yes... his myspace) blog.

I saw his and Jason Batemen's (of Arrested Development [favorite show #3] fame) movie The Ex today, and review will be short coming...

Also on a completely "me attempting to tie this together" side note, my screensaver has the star from my fourth favorite show (Simon Pegg of Spaced), and earlier I watched some of my fifth favorite show on DVD (Star Trek: The Next Generation... and yes, I'm okay with my inner nerd... besides, Data is a better android than any other... I'm looking at you C3PO)

Video Cubing!

The first time I happened to film myself speedcubing, is also my current record... ch, chuh-ch-ch-ch, check it out:

First Is The Worst, Second Is The Best, Third Is The One In The... Middle Region...!

I saw Spider-Man 3 yesterday, and the title of this entry pretty much explains my opinions on it (while I think it was better than the original, it certainly wasn't as good as the second one).

Spider-Man 3!:

Starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace. The third movie in the Spider-Man movies doesn't necessarily completely satisfy, but it doesn't leave you feeling unsatisfied. Strong points: Venom (period), mostly good followings of the comic (unlike X3, which just gave the middle finger to the comic book canon), strong acting, amazing special effects, and the humor we've come to expect from the last two Spider-Man films. Weak points: sometimes feels a little cluttered with story, and [SPOILER] Venom shouldn't have died [END SPOILER]. Annoying/Weird/Awkward points: Emo Pete? The X-Treme Snowboard Glider? The Symbiote turned Peter into a ladies man? Okay, basically you get the drift. Definently worth a see if you love Spider-Man and want to be entertained. The only big problem with this movie (besides the SPOILER) is that know they have the big three Spider-Man villians (Goblin, Doc Ock, and Venom) used, I don't see how they can end the series... unless they really want to follow the comics and... you know... resurect Norman Osborn... well... it happened with Tupac.

A New Record!

For my birthday (today) my (quote adopted unquote) sister gave me a new Rubik's cube, and I got a new record, which is three minutes and one point eighty-one seconds (3:01.81).

Yay.

Holy Sh!ti

Here is part of Wikipedia's entry on the word "sh!t" (WARNING... NAUGHTY LANGUAGE):

"Shit carries an encompassing variety of figurative meanings. Of these, perhaps the most common are generic expressions of displeasure (as in, Shit!), fear (Oh, shit!), or surprise (Holy shit!).

Interestingly, in slang, prefixing the article the to shit gives it a completely opposite definition, meaning "The Best", as in "My mom's hashbrowns are the shit," or "Oregon Trail is the dope shit."

Shit denotes trouble, as in, "I was in a lot of shit"; low quality, as in, "That disk drive is shit" (see "piece of shit" below); unpleasantness, as in, "Those pants look like shit", or "This casserole tastes like shit"; or falsehood or insincerity, as in, "Don't give me that shit", or "You're full of shit" or surprised anger "Jim is totally going to flip his shit when he sees that we wrecked his bike"."

(END NAUGHTY LANGUAGE)

The fact that the article has the phrase "Oregon Trail is the dope sh!t." made me litterally wet myself.

Seriously...

If you feel like reading more of this sh!t just click here.

Hot Fuzz Saturday!

A week and a half ago (on Saturday) I saw Hot Fuzz (I haven't yet posted a review out of laziness), so here is the review:

Hot Fuzz!:

Starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Timothy Dalton (yes, the fourth Bond). This is the second movie (but third project, they had a T.V. show called Spaced) from the Shaun of the Dead people (same director, Mr. Edgar Wright). Like their first movie they combine comedy with another genre, which while isn't revolutionary, the way they do it is. They completely combine it, it switches back and forth so seamlessly that it creates a whole new genre. This is a very brutal movie (maybe even more so than 300) but it is also the funniest movie I've seen since Little Miss Sunshine a year ago almost. With incredible action, laughs, actors, and everything else this gets my vote as the best film of the year (so far) and is now one of my favorite movies (#5, pushing Life Aquatic down).
