Zero Point Nine Nine Nine Nine Nine Nine Nine Nine Nine Dot Dot Dot!

I'm truly scared.

I recently read a wiki... and apparently the repeating decimal 0.999... is equal to 1.

The "proof":

0.333… = 13
3 × 0.333… = 3 × 13
0.999… = 1

"And":

c = 0.999…
10c = 9.999…
10cc = 9.999… − 0.999…
9c = 9
c = 1

But it's truly disturbing to think that two slightly different things could actually be the same thing... but different... like emo kids and scene kids... or HG2TG and HHGTTG... or slavery and welfare.

In other Wikipedia based news, apparently people are dedicated enough to make the articles about Bulbasaur and Sesame Street good enough to be featured articles (articles picked out that are supposedly of higher standards) but the articles for United States and Christianity are not...

Oh and also, Benji pointed out that another reason people like horror movies is to be scared, but I sort of counted that in with the gore, because they are both an odd type of sick pleasure.

Well, I was talking to Christine and she gave me your site and I was reading it and laughing. Alot. Which I don't do. And you say a wikipedia about Bulbasaur is a featured article? That's just crazy. I was freaked out whenever they had a huge section about each of the Final Fantasy characters, but, man, Bulbasaur just takes the cake.
