Dinner And A Movie!

Well at least the movie part. I've recently seen five movies and here I will give my reviews:

"Memento":

This thriller with Guy Pearce, Trinity, and Joe Pantalonio (sp) really had me guessing all the way to the beginning... because the movie is in a reverse chronological order (kind of). About a guy who can't remember anything because of an accident and is trying to find the guy who killed his wife. Not too much violence or nudity, the only reason this movie got an R was because of words. Watch it if you want to be surprised/confused. (oh and this and "Fight Club" are the only two movies with endings I would call MIND SHATTERING [TM]):

"The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou":

Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and the Green Goblin are in this movie about... fish... who eat people and pirates. Hilarious but sad ending, has the usual Bill Murray dead-pan humor along with some other types and a very very good musical score, fun If you like odd quirky comedies:

"Land Of The Dead":

Staring Sloth, some guy who looks like Mark Hammil, and the brother of the black guy from "The Green Mile". Not as good as "Dawn" but (apparently) better than "Day". Gorey, cursing, zombies, what you would expect (and my vote for worst death ever). Not as much substance as some other zombie movies (that's saying much). Oh, and some of the zombies use guns and it's a little gay:

"The Boondock Saints":

Starring two Irish men, an Italian, and a gay Green Goblin. About two Irish men who kill people that are "bad", then an Italian guy helps them, and this entire time a gay Green Goblin is hunting them down. Some people will call it a rip off of "Pulp Fiction". I'd call it more a love letter:

***7****

"Se7en":

Starring Tyler Durden, God, and Dr. Cox. Thriller about a John Doe who is going to kill seven people according to the seven deadly sins of Catholicism (Eating too much, wanting money, being Protestant, masturbating, receiving botox, using DHL, and have the initials "B.P."). A little gruesome at parts, and cussing of course. Mind blowing (not shattering though...), and hearing Dr. Cox call someone a sh!t is always fun:

That's all I wrote.
