At The Movies!

Yesterday I went to the movies and saw two of the years (as of yet) biggest films... 300 and Zodiac.

300!

Gerard Butler and a large group of buff men. This is the kind of movie that you get out of and you want to just start a fight... if that is a good thing or not, I don't know, but 300 will get you pumped. Besides a huge adrenaline rush, it also is visually amazing. If you can look past basically no plot and a clear non-historical approach to the subject matter then see it, as long as your aren't opposed to a few breats and a lot of violence.

Zodiac!

Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. The only complaint about this movie I have, is that it seems too long... Personally I don't think they could have cut anything out (besides individual frames) and still have gotten the same affect, so if you see this, drink some coffee or red bull before you go... But the good part: incredible acting, incredible real story, amazing directing and everything else is just riveting. One of those movies that you feel extremely satisfied after viewing. It has a few cuss words (just enough to get it an R-rating) but other than that, there's nothing raunchy about the film.

And for the end of this, because this has been asked twice already and probably will be asked again...

"Which film did I like better?"

Well that's simple... Zodiac... but if you asked me which experience I liked better, then I would have to say 300. As a movie Zodiac is better, with it's thick plot and incredible acting, but 300 just gets you pumped...
